Just a brief update on us. It's pretty hot this week and so we are
keeping busy at the pool. Today is going to be almost 100 degrees
out!
Jade had a friend sleep over for the first time last night. They
had a lot of fun, and once they went to sleep, they stayed in bed
pretty much all night. My girls are over at Evelyn and Clem's house
now, so I get some time to rest. I'll be heading over there to pick them
up after a little while.
I can't believe how big my girls are getting. Several times last night I
looked at Nova and thought it was Jade sleeping there next to me, only to
realize that no, it was the baby! Not such a little baby anymore.
::sniff, sniff:: How DID that happen, anyway?!

I am feeling really good this evening. This week has, for the most part,
gone really well. I've been pushing myself to follow my routines and it
REALLY HELPS! I am looking forward to getting a book I ordered,
Seven Times the Sun, I think it's called. A friend in my homeschool
group recommended it to me.

In case you are wondering, Nick is looking at applying for a job at
NREL, the National Renewable
Energy Laboratories. I have no idea whether it's something we're
going to follow through on. The prospect of moving to a smallish town
(~18000 people) is kind of exciting. It's daunting too though. I'm not sure
it's the best choice for Nick though. He seems to be getting bored of his
current job, and this one seems like it will be a lot less challenging. I
guess I have no idea where I'm going with this. Whatever is to be, will be,
I suppose.
Life is good. I hope this happy spell lasts.

In case you are interested, I have a page for homeschooling stuff. It will probably
detail a lot of our day to day life activities, and I'm hoping to update it regularily,
if not daily. Enjoy! I am. :-)
So what should I name this page? My old blog was LifeNSanity. I'm kind of bored of that.
Maybe This Mama's Madness or Too Clever to Title This. Hehe.
How about How Did I Get Here? Or Keeping Time. Maybe
I'll just keep the default title... SweetHome. Yawn. It's late. I need to get to bed,
we are expecting guests in the morning.
