That was fast!
Apparently, all I had had to do to get my html editor fixed was to bitch about it online. :-) My awesome dh fixed it for me. Good job love.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!
I cannot believe that my "little" sister is now 17, 6 foot 2 inches, has her own car to drive around, and will be graduating high school next spring. Crazy stuff man. Amanda: I look forward to your visit next month! I hope we don't go for each other's throats the minute you step off the plane! lol!

Today is a new day
After my utter humilation yesterday, crying my eyes out before going to bed, and then (for once) getting a good night's sleep, I am ready to just start today as a new day. I'm not going to beat myself up, feel guilty or ashamed. I'm just going to do what I can and forgive myself for what I can't or don't do. I've been for a walk (1 3/4 miles) and done some stretching and yoga. This afternoon we'll have some friends over for a playdate. In the meantime, I'm dressed to the shoes and ready to get some basic housekeeping done with regular breaks thrown in to play on the computer, rest, and play with my babies.
My sister's birthday is tomorrow. Happy Birthday Amanda!

I wont be posting much for a while
You know the joke, Q: "What happened to the door?" A: "Dad fixed it." Well, Nick "fixed" the computer, and now the program I use to update my blog, quanta, keeps crashing. So I have to use a simple text editor, which is a PITA!
In other news, we bought a new bed frame for Jade. It's a solid pine loft bed, and we have the queen on a box spring underneath. Just need to invest in an actual mattress now.
Also, can I complain that I need a teenager to take over my kids for me for a few hours a few times a week. I was horribly humiliatated when the handyman showed up 20 minutes early and got a great view of how digustingly messy my home is. I'd just gotten up from a nap, and hadn't had a chance to tidy up. I was SO EMBARASSED.
On a related note, do why do you think my mother refuses to let my sister come visit me? Is it because there are no direct flights available for under about $1000? (We could get a connecting for about $200.) (Oh! Oh! Oh! I'm wrong! We could get a direct flight for around $300 plus fees, etc.) Because she's trying to "protect" A from my evil and sarcastic husband? Or maybe it's as simple as A's schedule is too full this summer. I'm not buying it though.
I need a babysitter, or a mother's helper. I need a vacation. By myself, I think.
